LATEST NEWS

The STAERKELS have arrived! They're performing on the Mountain Annie's Stage every weekend throughout this Summer! Hitting the stage in full force every weekend they've made an amazing impact with their new show! This is one of their most dynamic shows in the history of the many Summer tours in Ruidoso. Why? Because they are filling the stage with 5 very hot instrumentalists and vocalists all of whom perform in a variety of formats, from convincing impressions of Willie Nelson and Elvis to George's endless ability to play an enthralling array of horns ... and Barbara's eloquent vocals on timeless classics ... This show will take you on an entrancing musical journey that you will forever remember!

Our doors open Friday & Saturday from 4 PM on ... we're serving Steaks and Seafood (see our current MENU). Our music starts at 6 PM with soloists playing easy listening background music and at 7 the main Riversong Ramblers show starts and goes until the lights turn out! Come out and enjoy our Steak and Seafood ... see a fun show while dining on some of the finest entrees this side of the Southwest!

The RIVERSONG RAMBLERS are going great! New exciting sounds from Ruidoso's published multi-instrumentalist: Mickey Cochran, 6-time National Fiddle Champion, 1986 World Fiddle Champion and vocalist: Bart Trotter, and prominent music man, guitarist and vocalist: Mark Remington are more fun than ever as they joust across musical lines and rag on each other throughout the show! Remember it's FREE, so just come on in and enjoy. Have a drink and relax to a unique acoustic music show encompassing jalapeno bluegrass, country, light classic rock, jazz, Texas swing and ragtime as played on fiddle, guitar, banjo, Dobro and mandolin.

If you're hungry, though, MOUNTAIN ANNIE'S IS NOW OFFERING STEAKS AND SEAFOOD at the most reasonable rates in town. To give you an example, through March and April, were offering a big Rib-eye, or T-Bone, or New York strip steak INCLUDING baked potato, salad, coffee or tea, and fresh baked bread for only $14.95! For those who prefer seafood, try our pecan-encrusted baked salmon, halibut, or coconut shrimp with exotic marmalade sauce, and there are sandwiches, salads, and burgers, too. You'll love our well-stocked bar.

The Fireballs (#1 Selling Tunes, Sugar Shack and Bottle of Wine) will be back at Mountain Annie's May 28-29, so make your reservations now. Show only tickets are $12.00 each such a deal and if you wish to add dinner, the show and a hearty dinner are only $24.00 per person. Dinner guests should arrive 6:30 and show-only guests should arrive before showtime at 8:00 PM. The Fireballs love dancers! Our patio should be ready to go for the spring and summer season, and tentative plans call for opening it in June, and the Riversong Ramblers will be here, either on the patio, the restaurant area, or the lounge, when our famous Staerkel Master Musicians return to Mountain Annie's main stage. The Staerkels are bringing their greatest show ever to Mountain Annie's this year, with Bill Wells and three additional great musicians you will be amazed with their performances this year!

Most of our musicians have CD's available for sale either at Mountain Annie's or on their own web sites. And if you need a web site built, or are looking for web advertising, or just need more information on
Ruidoso events, Mickey Cochran and Bart Trotter have teamed up to serve those needs as well as entertain you. Go to Goruidoso.com to see what those guys are up to -- and don't forget to bookmark Mountain Annie's.com for upcoming shows.

Mark Jones, our photographer/publicist, is back on the job and we're lucky to have him with us after an unfortunate auto accident recently. A Guiding Angel helped him to recover, and because of her generosity, Mark wants to start a foundation to help others as she helped him. Wishing you love and happiness!
